Come down for a ride on Sonny’s Place’s historic 1925 Philadelphia Toboggan Company Carousel! This ride is sure to delight people of all ages as they choose a horse and take a spin through history. Some horses jump, while others don’t. All are hand carved and on their way to beautiful restorations! There’s even chariots for a more relaxing ride. We also have a wide variety of Sonny's BBQ to enjoy with all the fun!

The History of our carousel

Our carousel has had a few different homes since it’s construction.

1925-1928: Delaware Beach, New Castle, Delaware
1929-1945: Lakewood Park, Waterbury, CT
1945-1951: Refurbished at Philadelphia Toboggan Company Factory in Philadelphia, PA
1952-2009: Kiddieland Park, Melrose Park, Illinois
2009-2017: In Storage, Chicago, Illinois
2017: Sonny’s Place, Somers, CT
