Free Concert Series at Sonny’s Place

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend an evening out with friends and family love summer nights outdoors, check out the free concert series at Sonny’s Place. Our beautiful outdoor venue features live music Thursdays through Sundays throughout the summer. Combine Free Live Music with the best place in the area for fun means you’ll have a great time, every time you visit! Some of your favorite bands are scheduled, along with new, upcoming acts. You’ll want to attend concerts all summer long!

Keep the Day Going

After a fun day at Sonny’s Place, you can keep the day going with great food from Sonny’s BBQ and enjoy live music in the Pavilion. Enjoy entertainment every Thursday starting at 7:00 pm, Friday and Saturday the music starts at 8:00 pm, and Sundays you can enjoy your favorite acts starting at 3:00 pm. Sit back and relax with your favorite cocktail, beer, and wine or, if the mood strikes you there’s plenty of room to get up and dance! You can enjoy all the outside activities all day or spend part of your day with indoor activities and take it outside once the music kicks up. 

Something For Everyone

If there’s one thing Sonny’s Place understands about guests, it’s that no two are just alike. Some like to visit with their children, while others come with friends or co-workers. That’s why the attractions at Sonny’s Place vary from an antique carousel to action-packed laser tag. Guests love an easy-going round of mini-golf and the quick pace of the go-kart track. Like the everyday attractions, the free concert series has a variety of acts to suit the taste of every guest. Some are great cover bands, while others perform amazing original music. Beach and surf music bands contrast with hard southern rock. From party bands to relaxing acoustic sets, the music at the Sonny’s Place free concert series provides something for everyone to enjoy. 

When you visit Sonny’s Place, you can always be assured that everything is put in place to allow guests to have fun while still keeping everyone safe. Throughout the past year, additional safety measures have been enacted so you can feel comfortable during your visit and let the fun take over. The safety of our team members and guests is our top priority, as such, face masks required for unvaccinated guests when participating in inside attractions at Sonny’s Place.

Safety is always our first priority, and as such, we are following all guidelines set by the CDC and the State of Connecticut. As the guidance from the state changes, the policies at Sonny’s Place will update on the website and at the facility. The State of Connecticut now allows outdoor concerts as well as other outdoor events. Before your visit, check the website for updated information, including inclement weather plans. We look forward to your visit!

Hang Out and Have Fun at Sonny’s

Once you have enjoyed everything the attractions have to offer, stick around and hang out at Sonny’s for the free concert series. There’s nothing like spending a lovely evening with friends listening to live music in the outdoors. Sonny’s Place makes it happen!

On select nights we have live music inside Sonny’s Pavilion. There’s room for 500+, and a full bar is available, as well as great food and other refreshments. You can see what food is available in our Pavilion Menu.

Cap off an afternoon of fun on the Go Kart track by kicking back and enjoying an evening of great food, fun, and friends. It will be music to your ears!
